Animal droppings, debris, leaves, toys, and locked gates can affect our ability to complete your application. Please ensure to have your lawn/treated area in a clean state with gates unlocked (If applicable) to ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience with the best results.

Before Treatment:
In some cases when weeds are more profound in the lawn, mowing before we come to perform your application can actually increase the results of weed control as this will cut open the weeds and make them more susceptible to the herbicide.
After Treatment:
After we have performed a treatment, please ensure that you have thoroughly watered the application into your lawn. Once watered in you are all set to go ahead and mow your lawn.
To have the best results from the application, we ask that you wait until you next watering day or at least 24 hours to water in the application.
After we have treated your lawn please allow the grass to thoroughly dry before walking on it or letting children or pets back on to the treated areas. On a nice sunny day this is typically 1 – 2 hours. After the application has dried the lawn is safe for children and pets to be back out on.
With applications on rainy days, we add surfactant to our applications. This is a product that helps bind our applications to the weeds in wet weather. That being said keep an eye on your weeds and if they don't start to wither and curl up in a few days then give us a call.
After your application, you should see the weeds in your lawn starting to curl and die off.
Depending on the type of weed that you are hoping to get rid of as well, certain ones do require more applications. For example, dandelions can take 1-2 applications while clover and black medic take 3-4 applications to get rid of. There are also different contributing factors that can play into weed growth from year to year, i.e.: the weather, spores tracked in by animals, the wind, etc.
Hang tight through the next round and you should see more improvement, but if you do not then please be sure to contact us and we will examine it further to ensure that everything is going as expected.
All of our products are approved by the Ministry of Environment as well as Health Canada and they are safe for your children and pets. We ask the you let the application fully dry before allowing kids/pets to play on the treated area just as an added precaution. Yes! When you sign up for our vegetation control program you get signed up for an initial application and a follow-up. This follow up application is typically done around 5 weeks after your first application has been completed.
Chinch bugs are pests that cause notable issues with your turf as they ingest the chlorophyll from blades of certain grasses which make the lawn look dry or burnt in certain areas. They prefer hot, dry, sunny areas and will flourish if no action is taken
This is a one-time application that should be done every year for a few years in a row to exterminate the bugs as they have a 7-year life cycle and our product only kills what is alive, it does not touch the eggs that are buried underground.
You may also need to add some topsoil and overseed in the spring to really bring back your lawn. We also offer this service and can have someone take a look and give you a quote if you would like. Second hatch second treatment

When you apply new seed, you will need to be sure that the seed remains watered multiple times a day for 10-14 days for the seed to germinate and grow. If the seed dries out at all during this germination period, it will not take.
Our product that we use for the Insect Control treatment typically takes effect after the first 20 minutes of being applied and then, just like our other lawn treatments, you will need to water the application in after 24 hours. That being said feel free to keep an eye on things and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. After you have watered in the application feel free to return to your regular mowing schedule.

Our applicators use as much care as they can when applying this application to ensure the most safety possible to surrounding vegetation. As we cannot control ground/soil conditions or upcoming weather there may be limited effects to vegetation located directly around the treated area.
